Description
Botticelli worked in Florence where he attracted the patronage of the powerful Medici family and now widely acknowledged as one of the greatest Italian Renaissance painters. He drew his inspiration from a multitude of sources, classical and Biblical as well as contemporary. The Birth of Venus (c.1481), perhaps his best known work, was commissioned for one of the many Medici villas and is now in the Uffizi Gallery. The Original Style Artworks range comprises ceramic wall tiles, mouldings and decorative pieces for bathrooms, kitchens and beyond. Its rich, intense colours, deep translucent glazes and finely crafted details are perfect for recreating both classic and contemporary styles.
