RUBI invented the first manual cutter in 1951 as a solution to cement tile cutting. It's been 65 years since then and RUBI continues to lead and innovate in the manufacture of manual tile cutters. RUBI offers professional ceramic tile fixers the widest range of manual cutters on the market, along with a great variety of tools and equipment for the installation of ceramic tiles, designed to meet all their needs. RUBI manual ceramic cutters are adapted to the specific needs of each market, offering everything tile fixers look for, no matter where they come from or what material they are using. We offer different types of machines regarding the way the manual tile cutting machine separates the two pieces of ceramic: single point (fixed mechanism, independent from scoring assembly) or multipoint (the breaker is part of the scoring assembly); we also offer a great variety of models to make cuts in ceramic tiles of different typologies, sizes and thicknesses, each of them designed with a different kind of user in mind. Thus, RUBI includes both dual and single guide manual cutters for ceramic, in order to adapt to every user's needs.
RUBI's developments and innovations have no stop. Our machines and tools are continuously improved and enhanced in both design and features. We are in constant contact with professional tile fixers to receive feedback about our products, in order to achieve the goal of making the work of a tile fixer easier each day. Manual tile cutters, for instance, are made thinking solely and exclusively of the fixer.
Thanks to the work and cooperation of all the company departments and the great loyalty of our customers, scattered all around the world, we are aware of the demands and specific needs of each market. For these reasons, we design and manufacture products and tools that are tailored to each type of market and that meet the needs of the professional.
All RUBI ceramic cutters are designed by the RDI department, based on the needs of professional tile fixers, only using resistant materials that offer proven strength and lasting work quality.
It should be noted that in the process of creating our tools is included a test period in real work situations in certain domestic and international markets, conducted by a group of trusted professionals in the industry. This action allows us to identify areas of improvement in our products before putting them on sale and/or adapting them to the needs of the end-user. That way none of our products is released into the market without proper testing and prototyping, therefore end users will always get reliable and high quality products at a very attractive price.
Another aspect we always have in mind is safety, since the manual ceramic cutters are very safe tools, due to the fact that they do not contain sharp parts that may come into contact with the user or high speed mobile parts that may put in danger tile fixer's hands or limbs, besides they don’t need electricity to work.
